Horseshoe Bend is a horseshoe shaped bend in the Colorado river just downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam
If you are looking for an amazing panoramic view overlooking the Colorado river, Horseshoe Bend ranks near the top of the list. Located about 5 miles south of Page Arizona and starting at a parking lot just off of highway 89 you’ll find the trail head for this short hike. The trail is a sandy and mildly hilly trail that is about 3/4 of a mile to the overlook.
